The NOMOS Lawyers International General Meeting took place on December 6, 2024, in Berlin. This year’s meeting was hosted by KUZAJ WITTMANN & PARTNER from Düsseldorf and it was a unique opportunity to connect before the holiday season and explore the festive Christmas markets in the city.
The meeting was attended by a total of 10 representatives from member law firms in the Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Norway and France.
The agenda included sharing of information on current developments at member law firms, a report on the financial affairs of the network, and a discussion on key topics such as the future growth of the network and collaboration between members, as well as the use of new technologies in legal practice.
Two presentations attracted particular interest: An external guest, Tobias Pusch, from the consultancy firm Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law, presented several applications for HR or employment law matters, and Anna Mokvist from the Swedish law firm Terra Advokat AB presented an emerging AI tool for the creation of legal documents.
In addition to the professional aspects of the meeting, the sideline cultural and gastronomic events added considerable value. The comfortable facilities of the event as well as the Advent atmosphere of Berlin contributed to the overall very pleasant course of this year’s annual meeting.
